There is a lanyard that came with it but can’t figure out how to use it to hang it?

Please watch the instruction video. Put the end of the thin loop of "rope" through the hole in the handle. Then take the end of the fat loop and push it through the thin rope's loop . Pull on the fat rope loop until the thin rope loop tightens on the handle.
